Worth knowing before you decide

Online shops have moving parts that a normal website does not. Here is what that means for you.

  • Payment gateways can be set up, but the fees are not ours

    We can connect a payment provider where one is available to you. The provider charges their own setup and per-transaction fees, and those are between you and them.

  • Shipping is configured, not invented

    We set up the shipping rules you tell us about. Flat rate, by area, or free over a certain amount. Live courier rate integrations are quoted separately.

  • Someone has to load the products

    We set up the product structure and load a starting set with you. Loading a large catalogue is quoted by volume.

  • We do not build headless stores as standard

    Some agencies sell a split front-end and back-end setup. It costs more, it is harder for you to manage, and most Sri Lankan shops do not need it. If you genuinely do, we will talk about it separately.

What fair usage means

This is shared hosting. We put around 12 websites with similar traffic on one server. That is what keeps the price low. If your site starts using much more than its share, we will tell you. We will talk through the options with you. We will not switch it off without warning you first.

Questions people ask

What can I do myself after handover?
Add and edit products, set prices, manage stock, view and update orders, create discount codes, and change your shipping settings. We show you all of it before we close the project.
Why WordPress and WooCommerce rather than a monthly platform?
No monthly platform fee, you own the site, and there are more people in Sri Lanka who can work on it. It is also the easiest to hand over.
Can customers pay by card?
Yes, if you have an account with a payment provider that operates here. We connect it. Their fees are separate from our price.
What about cash on delivery?
That is included and is usually the first thing we set up.
How many products can I have?
There is no fixed limit in the software. What changes the price is how many we load for you at the start.
